the
Oxygen Inhalation Method
|
- Oxygen is
delivered in cylinders, which are easy to move within the office,
gym, clinic or salon.
- The oxygen
is inhaled through a disposable nasal canula, which fits comfortably
on the nostrils. A canula is provided for each 20 minute treatment.
The person is still able to talk, meditate, read, relax or sleep.
- The cylinders
deliver 99.90/o medical grade oxygen, which mixes with air around
the canula. The oxygen Intake Is approximately 35 percent.
- A token inserted
into the unit provides twenty minutes of oxygen. The unit automatically
switches off after the elapsed time.
- Oxygen is
filtered through liquid containing essences of choice, including
essential oils, for a fresh, invigorating feeling. The units supply
a fixed flow rate of two litres per minute, at 20 psi.
- Smoking is
not permitted during Oxygen lnhalation.
- Keep away
from naked flame.
|
Use the equipment strictly
as directed. If any warning light is activated (due to low battery or low
gas pressure), your Oxygen Inhalation session will continue, but will shut
down after the twenty minute sifting is complete. Contact your supervisor
if there are any problems.

To
Eliminate Oxygen Debt
|
|
During exercise, vital oxygen is in extra demand by cells and muscles.
Respiration speeds up to provide more oxygen.
Using oxygen rapidly
during exercise incurs on 'Oxygen Debt' by decreasing the oxygen content
of air in the lungs. More oxygen than usual is released from haemoglobin
in red blood cells. The body is 'borrowing' oxygen from these oxygen-storing
molecules.
Prolonged exercise
depletes the amount of AlP, or energy molecules', present in a muscle
cell. When exercise stops, a great deal of oxygen is required for aerobic
respiration so that ATP can be restored to its normal level.
Muscle cells often
respire anaerobically during exercise to produce the ATP they need. This
produces lactic acid, which is later converted into glucose by oxygen.
Production of lactic acid causes an Oxygen Debt. Use of oxygen to turn
lactic acid into glucose pays off the Oxygen Debt.
The Oxygen Debt is
replenished by high respiration after exercise. Although extra heavy breathing
only continues for a few minutes, oxygen uptake does not return to a normal
level for quite some time.
Extra intake of oxygen
after heavy exercise may help the body's oxygen and energy levels to be
restored more easily.
